Student Session Speaker
We are excited to announce that this year’s speaker is Mark Livingston. He is blessed to be the husband of Amanda and father to Lacy and Micah. He lives in Lufkin, Texas where he serves as the senior pastor of Keltys First Baptist Church. He has served in various ministry roles over the last 15 years including youth pastor, music minister, college pastor, and spiritual life director for a Christian school.
Please pray that God would speak to his heart and prepare him to share the Word with us.
Worship Leaders
We are so excited that Doug Mickan and Company are back with us again this year to lead us in worship during the student sessions. Bro. Doug and his group have done an awesome job the past several conferences and we have experienced the power of the Holy Spirit and the excitement of group worship as we have sung and praised the Lord for His Work. Entertainment
We are thrilled to announce this years entertainment is twofold. First of all on January 2nd we will welcome the Jesus Painter Mike Lewis at 9:00 a.m. Check him out at www.jesuspainter.com. We also are proud to announce that we will welcome Echoing Angels on January 2nd at 9:30 p.m. Echoing Angels is a contemporary Christian Band that has produced many well known songs check them out at MySpace.com by searching for Echoing Angels.
Recreation
We are going to the St. Louis City Museum. We will be at the museum on January 1st from 9:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of student playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects. Medical Release Forms

Each student must have a medical release form in case of accident or illness. Individual church sponsors are responsible for keeping up with their respective students medical releases.
Conference T-Shirts
A conference T-shirt will be provided for all who register (General registration) by the December 8th deadline. Conference T – Shirts will be handed out along with final confirmation of registration numbers. This will be done at the Alive Conference registration table outside the ballroom of hotel between 3:00 and 6:00 on January 1st 2009.
General Registration
The cost of the conference this year will be $40.00 per person. This registration fee is (non – refundable). The “non – refundable” refers to the registration fee for persons that are registered for the conference and then for whatever reason do not come to the conference. For instance, if you as a church register 20 people and then only 18 actually come to the conference those registration fees for the other 2 are non-refundable. If for some reason in-climate weather or something to that extinct does not allow us to have a conference we will refund all of the registration fees back, minus any cost that was a non – refundable obligation to the committee before the conference.
The Registration Fee of $40.00 per person (check payable to Youth Alive) along with the enclosed Registration Form must be received by December 8th 2008 at the following address to avoid a late registration fee.

Late Registration Fee
The late registration fee is $45.00 per person. A late registration fee will only be charged if you do not meet the December 8th deadline for General Registration. A late registration fee will not be charged to churches who meet the December 8th deadline and merely add additional attendees after the deadline. Late registration will be accepted but there is no guarantee of a conference T-shirt.

The room rate this year is $52.00 per room, per night, plus tax. You can avoid the sales tax churches if you supply a “tax exempt” letter and pay with church check or church credit card. You are still responsible to pay the Hotel tax that is unavoidable. Each church is responsible for mailing a rooming list directly to the hotel.
RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY MONDAY, DECEMBER 8th, 2008 TO BE GUARANTEED THE $52.00 RATE.
Please Note: To avoid any confusion, each church is responsible for making their own room reservations. Therefore, we encourage early hotel reservations by phone and be certain to notify the hotel that you are with the Alive Ministries Student Conference.
If you encounter difficulty with your hotel reservations please notify me Brad Banderman at 636-629-2978 (chairman Alive Committee) immediately. Please do not wait until you arrive at the conference. Just another reminder, after the December 8th deadline the room fee or availability of rooms are not guaranteed. Please call early so you can abide by the deadline.
